Every policy reflects my vision for a more affordable, transparent, sustainable, and welcoming Richmond Hill. Some of these ideas can be implemented directly by Council, while others will require working with York Region, the Province of Ontario, community organizations, or the private sector.
Municipal government doesn't work like a president or a prime minister making decisions alone. Every member of Council has one vote. Lasting change comes from listening to residents, building partnerships, finding common ground, and earning the support of fellow councillors.
That means these policies are not promises that can be implemented overnight. They are commitments to the priorities I will champion, the conversations I will start, and the solutions I will work to achieve on your behalf.
As your Regional Councillor, I will always listen first, be honest about what the City can and cannot do, and work collaboratively with residents, Council, York Region, and the Province to deliver practical results.
Whether it's protecting the Oak Ridges Moraine, improving public transit, supporting local businesses, increasing housing affordability, or making government more transparent, my commitment is simple: to be a strong voice for Richmond Hill and to work every day to make our community an even better place to live.

Making sure Richmond Hill has the facilities and green spaces for the future is critical to having a livable city for families and children.

Richmond Hill has been one of the fastest-growing communities in Canada for almost 40 years. That growth has caused traffic and parking problems as more people drive in and out of the city. We need sensible parking and transportation solutions to meet the needs of commuters, residents, and local businesses.

Every city runs on tax revenue from property owners and local businesses. It's the responsibility of your City Councillors to spend those taxes respectfully and efficiently. Our city needs a better balance of Property and Business taxes while adding new non-tax revenue sources.

Local Democracy
There's nothing more important to the heath of our city than our local democracy, from how we elect our city council to how open that council is. We need to update our democracy to make sure it's not only open and responsive but that everyone has access and the ability to participate.

Building stronger, safer, and more connected communities. It means investing in neighbourhoods, supporting local initiatives, improving public spaces, and working to ensure residents feel safe and included where they live.
